pourto igauza - buenos aires

my travels continue, today i rose and managed to miss yet another complimetery breakfast (they always end by 0900). the room change ended up being a blessing in disguise as there were people up until 0100 in the morning drinking and talking, my new room was further from the group, the owners were right there with them.

got ready and checked out by 1000 they called for a van to take me to the airport, it arrived just about the time they said 1115. now i’m at the airport checked in and hoping to update the blog for those of you longing to know what i’ve been up to.

i'm in a very remote part of a suburb of buenos aires, 5 km from the airport but surprisingly quiet. free ride to the airport, laundry maybe free? and a high speed connection to update blog and flickr. what a blessing.

something i did not know -- that you may not want to know

i thought flies laid their eggs or larva and that the maggots formed latter. well apparently not in argentina. a pesky one kept buzzing me and i made a grasps (which usually comes up empty handed) to my shock i got it and when i opened my hand i surveyed to see if i'd dealt it the fatal blow, well i noticed something moving so i looked closer --- the faint of heart may want to move on to the next blog.

i suddenly realized there were many tiny maggots exiting this dead fly, i observed it for a few moments and then the germ paranoia kicked in and i had to wash my hand and then take a shower.

Didn't know you had a germ phobia! Sounds like your travels are, as usual, full of adventure, expected AND unexpected! The falls are amazing. Would love to see them someday! Thinking of you! Looking forward to your next posting...

This adventure sounds no different than your others. Keeps you on your toes! I don't feel sorry for you either! I have always wanted to see those falls.
You will be fluent in several languages if you ever come home.
Take care,
